The Hydac group has delivered the diesel driven hydraulic power units (HPU) suited for ATEX zone 2 and the utility container including the platform and stairs.

The hydraulic system has got a Bureau Veritas Design Approval.

The system will be used to operate the remote Oil Loading System (OLS) installed approximately 2 km away from the FPSO.

The Oil Loading System (OLS) facilities include the following principal items:
• A Buoy anchored to the seabed via mooring lines
• Oil Offloading Lines (OOLs) between the FPSO and the Buoy
• Oil Offloading Floating hoses/hawsers between Buoy and Tanker

The system will be placed at the EGINA Main Field, which is a collection of reservoirs offshore Nigeria in a water depth of approximately 1150 – 1500 m (1445 m at OLT location).
